Welcome to our seasonal acupuncture wellness retreat, where we will explore the Wood Phase of Spring and how to holistically attune to the season to optimize our vitality and harmonize our relationship with our beautiful Earth's natural rhythms and cycles.

The Wood Phase teaches and facilitates our ability to build that inner authority from a place of deep soul alignment.

Learning to connect more deeply with nature's rhythms helps us have meaningful, healthy relationships with ourselves and our loved ones and amplifies our well-being and vitality.

Savour Nourishing, Seasonal Cuisine

Be nourished by our daily offerings for Chef Leslie, who will create delicious, whole-food, seasonally-based, vegetarian, and vegan meals.
Prepared with the season's harmonizing qualities, these nourishing dishes are not only delightful to the palate (everybody always wants Leslie's recipes) but also amplify overall wellness and harmony with nature.
Magical elixirs and seasonal herbal teas and infusions will quench and nourish your spirit and nutrient levels.
During Sonja's discussions on seasonal alignment, we will discuss types of food and cooking styles to use during the winter season.

Morning Rituals for Inner Harmony

Start each day with Sonja guiding us through qi gong and meditation. These practices are ideal for aligning body, breath, and spirit and setting a tone of tranquillity and balance for the day ahead.

Group Acupuncture & Sonic Journey Healing Treatments With Sonja

Relax and rejuvenate with an included group acupuncture session with a sound journey to help you attune to the season and address your wellness needs. For those desiring further exploration of well-being, we offer limited spots for an additional zen shiatsu or Thai yoga massage for an additional charge (these are limited and depend on time availability).

River or Lake Nature Time (weather permitting)

We will make a trip to a magical forest and lake, one of our favourite places to commune with nature; we will create a spring mandala.

Seasonal Alignment Talks and Nature Connection

Engage in insightful seasonal alignment talks, where you'll learn how to harmonize your lifestyle with the rhythms of nature. Sonja will share about nutrition for spring, cleanses, movement, and a discussion on the emotions of wood and how to transmute frustration and feeling stagnant into aligned visionary inner leadership for a new way forward. These sessions are designed to deepen your understanding of seasonal natural cycles from a Daoist Five elements perspective and their impact on your well-being.

Where you'll learn to feel empowered to create aligned boundaries and requests and have the confidence to move forward with bringing your dreams into reality.

We will explore with some spring tea ceremonies.

Evening Practices for Deep Relaxation

On we will wind down the day with a soothing yin yoga session, followed by an enchanting crystal singing bowl and gong sound journey. This combination is a perfect way to ease into a state of relaxation and prepare for a restful night's sleep.

Personal Time for Exploration and Rest

Your stay with us includes some personal time to engage with nature and self-reflection. Wander through serene nature trails, find peace in journaling, or simply rest and rejuvenate. Our infra-red sauna is also available for your use, providing a warm, soothing escape to enhance your relaxation.

Do you have a work cohort or group of friends that you would like to have a personal retreat curated just for you?

Curated retreats can include, sound journeys, various treatments, yoga, qi gong, self inquiry and discovery exercises, natural dye workshops, food as medicine workshops, seasonal alignment, plant medicine ceremonies.

Email us to start the conversation. A minimum of 5 people is required. A maximum of 9 (11 if there are 2 sets of couples who can share a double bed).
